HERBAL INSECT REPELLANT
1/2 teaspoon citronella essential oil
1/2 teaspoon eucalyptus essential oil
1/2 teaspoon lavender essential oil
4 ounces distilled witch hazel
Mix ingredients in a 4-ounce spray bottle. Shake well. Spray onto exposed skin, avoiding eyes and mucous membranes. Reapply every 2 hours, or as needed.

This is only one of the recipes by the site below, but it is great to find this. The deet that is in most bug repellants is actually poisonous to humans, that is why it says dont put it on babies.

Over the past couple of years I have become very interested in home remedies, natural cures, and other hints and tips that have been used for maybe centuries and are actually good for our bodies, instead of chemicals to take care of our health, illnesses, and diseases. Today I found an awesome site about weight loss and fitness. It is just like ediets and other diet sites, but FREE! It helps you figure out your goals for weight loss, and dates for your goals. You also go step by step instead of just jumping in. There is a meal tracker and calorie tracker, and you can join teams, groups, chat on the forums, there are tons of resources and articles. I know I just started, but this is just so much fun so far, I think I might actually go with it all the way. If anyone has any trouble let me know. Just email me.

These are specifically for atletes, but why wouldn’t they be just as good for the rest of us, right?There are many other topics on this site also, it is a health site. There are healthy eating guidelines, pre work out snacks, 5 healthiest foods, heart, cancer, gout and acid reflux diets and much more. Nutrition is a very important part of our lives considering the more attention we pay to it the longer our bodies will be made to live.

Today while searching online I found a really great site for health. More specifically alternative medicine and home remedies. The Doctor’s Book of Home Remedies has always been a reference book of mine, because I think it has really great information in it. On the Mother Nature website they have an online bookshelf that includes in full text the Doctor’s Books of Remedies 1 and 2, for Seniors, Women and Children. There are also other books about taking care of yourself, supplements and women’s health. All of the reading is free, and it is a great site to reference when you have a problem that is in one of the books. Here is the link:

Today site is actually just a page on the reader’s digest site. It is the 50 habits of thin people, and it tells you how to lose weight forever. There are obvioulsy 50 tips to follow, and some of them seem easy. It is hard as it is to lose weight so hopefully this site can help someone.
