We need someone to create a banner to go at the top of our letterhead so I can make a word document template out of it and we also need a business card design for us to take to a printer to create business cards in a similar style to the letterhead.
I have a sample letterhead that I created that is attached to this posting. The orange isn’t as bright as I’d like it to be and the shading on the letters is too light at the top. I can provide you the logo file, the photoshop layered files that were used to create the attached letterhead banner, as well as the fonts. The brain and mind oriented so called cognitive disorders include: PTSD, ADD, ADHD, schizophrenia, Alzheimer’s, bipolar, depression, strokes etc.
Mind stimulating interactive games would be great help to reduce the severity of these problems. The family and informal caregiver can become the one who takes the mind oriented interactive games, then plays with the care recipient, thus lowering the cost of medicine.
In a recent statement the family caregiver organization says it well:
There are more than 50 million family caregivers in the USA and they provide 80 percent of the long term care services to the 100 million homebound people in need of care. These uncompensated services provided by the caregivers amount to more than 400 billion dollars annually.
One of the best ways to maintain and even improve one’s health, in addition to the approved medical procedures, is mind-body interaction. It is a well established fact that when a person who is ill gives up and does not fight and try any longer, that person simply drifts away and expires.
This is especially true for the so called homebound people, the ones who need care. The combination of the people of the world who are either in need of care, like the frail elderly, the chronically ill and the disabled, or the providers of informal care like family and friends amount to half the population of the world. One third of the world’s population is in need of care from family and friends and one sixth of the world’s population are these caregivers. The professional studies which deal with mind-body interaction are called PsychoNeuroImmunology and NeuroPlasticity.
We have a short book which describes the ideas, political and technical, a system how to bring about the health benefits of mind-body interaction resulting from cognitive and collaborative use of interactive games of skill on the Web, especially on the newer Web 2.0 (version 2) which more like a person-to-person, social connection Web One of the potential best ways to collaborate and get involved with cognitive activities is via the use of interactive games. But not games of chance, which are too stressful and stress is bad for health. The most helpful games are games of skill. Most card games like poker are based on, to a very large degree, on pure chance, and maybe some psychology to bluff and read the other players. The problem is that chess is too complicated, checkers is too simple and Sudoku is a little artificial.
This project proposes a new game of skill based on the rules and purpose of poker, which is well known throughout the world, but, instead of chance, the play is performed based on rules of skill. It should be noted that everybody can use MindPowerPoker in any and all its forms, not just the people in need of care and their caregivers.

We watch DVD movies and documentaries from Netflix, a great service indeed, and listen to magazines and books on tape provided by the Library of Congress, another worthwhile service to people with disability, delivered at no charge. Then we discuss the content of these publications.
My husband reminds me frequently that “no one is disabled when on the Internet, when one interacts via the Web”. So I use him as my VoxBot (voice robot) and KeyBot (a keyboard robot) when I want something quick via the Web.
We need a an attractive, clean real estate flyer designed (both sides) that we can quickly swap pictures and information from one property to the next. Also the flyer needs to be able to be printed in color (in house to a color laser), sent to printer for professional printing (very high resolution), printed to PDF for email distribution and/or printed in black and white.
We utilize adobe acrobat, microsoft publisher, word and wordperfect, but if there is another option, we’d look at that too. Right now we have a decent format that we use in publisher, but we need something more like a “form” meaning that many of the components are locked (like the background, photograph location & size, company logos, etc). We’ve used stock formats from merill publishing and express copy, but they don’t adpat well to a team setup, therefore custom is required.

Layout and cover design for a 250-page work of inspirational fiction. Prior book design experience required. Samples a plus. The cover will be simple and text-based, with two small line-drawn images. The document is already laid out in Word using Bookman Old Style but will need special attention to set-offs and chapter titles. Only one B&W illustration inside plus author photo on cover. A couple of places where text may require use of special characters. I could go with a generic design from a site like Lulu but I am hoping to find someone with a special feel for this type of book.

We are launching a new website for a financial services product. We are looking for an individual to assist us in refining and editing the copy. These DVDs will be shown in care homes with the objective of getting elderly residents to;
- Participate in light physical exercise
- Utilize their memory and cognition skills
- Generally interact as a group
- Have fun
Background;
After spending many years delivering such workshops ‘live’, we’re about to translate them to a DVD format.
Animated visuals are needed to explain clearly what they should be doing at any particular point in the DVD and may be displayed alone or as picture in picture to support the on screen instructions.
Some activities we will need animation for are as follows.
- Playing instruments (shakers/ maracas, drums)
- Balloon tennis with a giant balloon
- Free-for-all noise making
- Conducting with a baton
- Hand dancing to different music (zorba the Greek, sailors hornpipe, the twist etc)
- 25 approx. standard exercise, done seated, e.g. lifting feet up & down, twisting left then right, arms folding, fingers to shoulder etc
As stated, our audiences are elderly and so subtlety will be lost on them, although their needs to be a ‘fun’ feel to the animations
I’m looking for a comic book artist to provide a one-page sample for a fun 50-plus page comic strips.
The artist will be paid a fair rate for their sample and if it works out for both parties, they will receive a small page-rate ongoing and 50/50 revenue-share on all future profits earned from the project.

The exact topic for each page has been designated and the writer of these pages will be able to view the surrounding pages while shaping his or her own writing. However, there are four blocks of 2 pages each designated for an introduction to bookkeeping, I will need the successful bidder to help me lay out what should go in those pages.
